Generation of minimum-energy entangled states

Quantum technologies exploiting bipartite entanglement could be made more efficient by using states having the minimum amount of energy for a given degree. Here, we study how to generate these in case system arbitrary finite dimension either applying unitary transformation its ground state or through zero-temperature thermalization protocol based on turning and off suitable interaction term between subsystems. In particular, explicitly identify three possible operators five terms. On one hand, two transformations turn out easily decomposable terms local elementary operations single nonlocal one, making their implementation easier. other since procedures can adapted many different states, numerically show that, each degree entanglement, generating minimum-energy entangled costs, general, less than vast majority states.
